Life Groups...
Life Groups at Living Branch Church are opportunities to not only meet and develop authentic relationships with friends and other believers, but also as a practical way to learn how we actively grow and serve in the Body of Christ. Various Life Groups are offered two terms of the year (spring, fall), while some are ongoing.
Check out the opportunities for you now! [Please note: While some LIFEgroups are ongoing, Spring 2012 LIFEgroups will officially start in February, 2012, and run through May, 2012. Some groups below may adjust slightly.]
Spring 2012
- Guarding Your Child's Heart—Purposing to see your family experience the life that God desires for us, this group focuses on equipping believers to exeprience the fullness of the Holy Spirit and the love, peace, unity, and obedience to Christ. "GYCH" meets Sundays at 6:30 pm. Join us as we walk the journey of growing in Christ together!
- Intercessory Prayer—Meeting Tuesdays at 9 am on the Living Branch Church campus (in "The Edge"), the Intercessors meet to pray for each other, family, friends, the church family, our community, nation, as well as the various ministries, staff, and campus of Living Branch Church. The Intercessory Prayer team understands the power of prayer and desires to see the Power of the Holy Spirit active in the life of all Believers.
- Band of Brothers—Meeting the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, Band of Brothers is for men only! Unite with other men of all ages as we journey through Fathered by God, a book by John Eldridge, exploring the different stages of manhood, from "Boyhood" to "Sage". Join with us as we purpose to build friendships and grow in our strength and relationship with Christ, more fully understanding a Christian man's role and purpose in today's world.
- Young Adults—Calling all young adults (married and single), ages 18-30! Come fellowship and experience God through relevant, life-focused Bible studies. Connect with friends and build your faith. Food, fun, and fellowship are found on Fridays, 7 pm to 10 pm. Game nights and movie nights provide a great place for welcoming visitors and having fun! Check us out on FaceBook... - The WorshipStudio—Whether through vocal or instrumental means, if you have ever desired to play an instrument or sing, this may be just for you! Building its foundation on II Kings 3:15 and Acts 4:23-31, The WorshipStudio meets on Monday evenings and is designed to equip you with the tools necessary to understand music and actively participate in a worship setting. Don't miss this opportunity!
- Financial Peace University--a video series by Dave Ramsey, FPU seeks to educate Christians in becoming financially independent, teaching a Biblical approach to managing finances, minimizing the drastic effects of today's unstable economy and learning to be a "good steward" of the resources given by God. Join the ranks of many successful stories of those who are already as well as those journeying to being debt free!
- Mastering Your Tongue—Meeting the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, Mastering Your Tongue welcomes all as we journey through the books 30 Days To Taming Your Tongue and The Power of Your Words, learning how to turn a potentially damaging tongue into one that speaks by faith, healing, edification, and encouragement. This may be just for you!
- Women of Life—Meeting Thursdays at 10 am in the April Sound Country Club Conference Room in the April Sound neighborhood, Women of Life (WOL) walks through the book Living In The Realm of the Miraculous, seeing that God wants us to live in the miraculous daily flow of His provisions--a life full the the exceeding abundant miracles and blessing of God. All women are invited to grow as we learn to live as women of God's purpose! Contact us for more information!
- Growing In Grace—Led by our Senior Pastors, GIG is a Bible study for any believer desiring to more deeply understand and experience the depth of the Grace and gifts of God. Join GIG the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 6 pm to 8 pm and explore how the Grace of God can be deeper in your life!
- Worship Ministry Team—Led by our Associate Pastor/Music Minister, the LBC Praise and Worship Ministry LIFEgroup meets 7 pm to 9 pm every Thursday. Practicing, Worshipping, Praying, and Praising are all components of this ministry. This is a Frontline Ministry LIFEgroup and therefore, in order to participate in this LIFEgroup, one must have completed the LBC 101 class and already be a member of the LBC Praise and Worship team.
- ER Youth Ministry Team—With a heart for this generation, the ER Youth Ministry Team is comprised of the members of the leadership of the LBC Youth Ministry, Extreme Reality, and meets the 2nd Sunday of every month. Strategizing, praying, and “vision casting”, this LIFEgroup supports and uplifts the LBC Leadership, youth, and each other and strives to speak Life and minister Life into the teens of the community. This is a Frontline Ministry LIFEgroup and therefore, in order to participate in this LIFEgroup, one must have completed the LBC 101 class and already be a member of the LBC Extreme Reality Youth Ministry Leadership.
