Life Groups at Living Branch Church are opportunities to not only meet and develop authentic relationships with friends and other believers, but also as a practical way to learn how we actively grow and serve in the Body of Christ. Various Life Groups are offered each of the three terms of the year (spring, summer, fall).

Fall 2010
· Have a New Kid By Friday—Working with Kevin Leman’s book Have a New Kid By Friday, this LIFEgroup is focusing on equipping parents to effectively raise a generation of world changers in an ever-changing world! The desire of New Kid is to be transformed into the image of Christ and grow together as individuals, parents, husbands, and wives. Join us at 6 pm Sunday evenings as we eat dinner together, fellowship, and impact a generation!
· Intercessory Prayer—Meeting Tuesdays at 9 am on the Living Branch Church campus (in "The Edge"), the Intercessors meet to pray for each other, family, friends, our community, nation, as well as the various ministries, staff, and campus of Living Branch Church. The Intercessory Prayer team understands the power of prayer and desires to see the Power of the Holy Spirit active in the life of all Believers.
· Heaven’s Treasures—One of life’s greatest challenges is the loss of a child. Heaven’s Treasures is a ministry that supports local hospitals with care packages for families that suffer the loss of a child shortly after birth or during pregnancy. Heaven’s Treasures provides women a safe place to talk about their loss and works to equip others how to care for their friends who may be experiencing the grieving process. If you have a heart for those who experience this loss or have personally experienced loss of this nature, this support family is for you.
· Young Adults—Calling all young adults (married and single), ages 18-30! Come fellowship and experience God through relevant, life-focused Bible studies. Connect with friends and build your faith. Food, fun, and fellowship are found on Fridays, 7 pm to 10 pm. Game nights and movie nights provide a great place for welcoming visitors and having fun! Check us out on FaceBook... · Singles Life Fellowship—Whether divorced, widowed, or never married, we are created to have fellowship with others and the Lord! This group provides fellowship with other like-minded single Believers ages 30 and higher, as well as facilitates a deeper relationship with Christ. Singles Life Fellowship meets weekly, bringing adult singles together for teaching, connection, and prayer so that we might be equipped to live a life of singleness that glorifies God and develops discipleship in Christ. · RealMOMS, RealLIFE—Kids are welcome! Join us every Monday from 11 am to 2 pm at RealMOMS, RealLIFE. Fun, Food, Fellowship, and don't forget the Teaching, Prayer, and Outreaches. RealMOMS, RealLIFE is a place to relax and hang out with other moms and be real!!! Bring the kids for their own "play date" as RealMOMS, RealLIFE connects with other moms and explores how to be the best wife, mother, and guardian of our homes we can be!
· Women of Life—Meeting Thursdays at 10 am from September through November in the April Sound Country Club Conference Room in the April Sound neighborhood, Women of Life (WOL) is focusing this term on exploring Beth Moore’s Believing God what it means to truly “believe God”. Through study of Believing God, by Beth Moore, WOL will know the fullness of believing that (1) God is who He says He is; (2) He can do what He says He can do; (3) I am who He says I am; (4) I can do all things through Christ; and (5) God’s Word is alive in me. · Scrapbooking—Meeting in the Extreme Reality Youth Building from 9 am to 5 pm every 2nd Saturday of the month, Scrapbooking celebrates family and life. Through pictures, one has the opportunity to look at the wonderful experiences we have had, revisit the places to which we have journeyed, stay connected with the people we love, and reflect on the marvelous hand of God in our life. Scrapbooking preserves these memories in the most unique, creative way possible so that they will be enjoyed for generations to come. Together we celebrate what God has done on our lives!
· Truth Project—Meeting Sundays from 6 pm to 8 pm, the Truth Project is an in depth expository of the influences of societal factors on a believer’s worldview. This 13 week LIFEgroup will compare biblical and societal worldviews and expose places where we may have been deceived and create transformation by reflecting on the Face of God and present God’s truth in all areas of life.
· A Closer Walk—Designed for both those who are just beginning a relationship with Jesus as well as those who have difficulty developing a personal daily walk with Christ, A Closer Walk will teach you how to foster a daily habit/lifestyle of “God—first thing every morning”. God not only wants to, but will use the circumstances of the day to lead, guide, teach, strengthen, and exhort us—all in an effort to draw us closer to Him by revealing His Word and perspectives. Journeying through My Utmost for His Highest, by Oswald Chambers, you will learn through humor and humility the extraordinary depth of Christ in simple, practical, realistic, and personal ways. A Closer Walk meets Sundays at 6:30 pm. Will you start the journey with us?
· The Secret Place—Do you desire to pursue a truly intimate relationship with God, deeper than any time before? The goal of this LIFEgroup is to learn to abide in the “secret place”, that place of intimacy between just you and your Lord. We are not to dwell on our mistakes, faults, and bad habits of the past. We must become one who rises above our fallibility and presses on toward the goal of the faith, not looking back but rather giving ourselves a fresh start from this moment forward. Using the books The Practice of the Presence of God, by Brother Lawrence, and When Heaven Invades Earth, by Bill Johnson, join us every other Friday at 7 pm as we learn to travel with a light heart as we enter into the Secret Place of God.
· The Law of Faith—Designed primarily for those advanced in their faith, The Law of Faith focuses on learning to grow to higher, more intense levels of faith and eliminate those mistakes that keep one from receiving from God. The Law of Faith meets weekly on Monday evenings from 7 pm to 8 pm on the LBC campus.
· Financial Peace University—In a world of an uncertain economy and ever-changing markets, FPU will teach you to live within your means and manage your financial resources successfully. Learn to get out of debt and stay out of debt, freeing yourself and your family from the grips of “lack”. One must register for FPU prior to the semester, and once the LIFEgroup term has started, this course is closed to any additions after week 1. · Exploring The Bible—A LIFEgroup for believers of all walks of faith, Exploring the Bible is a verse by verse Bible study, including prophetic worship and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Sundays from 5 pm to 7 pm, ETB will help the believer encounter God, identify gifts and talents, give an opportunity to grow in one’s spiritual gifts and talents, and provide opportunities to reach outward with the Love of God, all while experiencing God’s Truth!
· Growing In Grace—Led by our Senior Pastors, GIG is a Bible study for any believer desiring to more deeply understand and experience the depth of the Grace and gifts of God. Join GIG Sunday evenings from 6 pm to 8 pm and explore how the Grace of God can be deeper in your life!
· Worship Ministry Team—Led by our Associate Pastor/Music Minister, the LBC Praise and Worship Ministry LIFEgroup meets 7 pm to 9 pm every Thursday. Practicing, Worshipping, Praying, and Praising are all components of this ministry. This is a Frontline Ministry LIFEgroup and therefore, in order to participate in this LIFEgroup, one must have completed the LBC 101 class and already be a member of the LBC Praise and Worship team.
· ER Youth Ministry Team—With a heart for this generation, the ER Youth Ministry Team is comprised of the members of the leadership of the LBC Youth Ministry, Extreme Reality, and meets the 2nd Sunday of every month. Strategizing, praying, and “vision casting”, this LIFEgroup supports and uplifts the LBC Leadership, youth, and each other and strives to speak Life and minister Life into the teens of the community. This is a Frontline Ministry LIFEgroup and therefore, in order to participate in this LIFEgroup, one must have completed the LBC 101 class and already be a member of the LBC Extreme Reality Youth Ministry Leadership.
