In June of 1985, a group of 12 people lead by Pastor Sven Levin started Living Branch Church at its present location. God miraculously provided this property after a hardware store had been forced to close its doors after only a year of operation. In the years following, Living Branch Church would expand to the beautiful campus it now maintains. In August of 2003, Pastor Sven Levin handed the reins over to Pastor Kjell Johansson.
Since its inception, LBC has planted churches both domestically and internationally, as well as supported ministries and missionaries worldwide. LBC has continued to grow and develop. Countless lives have been touched by God through its ministry, and Living Branch Church continues to experience a broader understanding of the wonderful life found only in the depth of Christ.
